Welcome to Exit Only, a publication of reviews for the neglected and obscure. It aims to publish a review once a month, in addition to occasionally hosting other essays on subjects that cut across politics, philosophy and literature.

It is often assumed that in the age of mass information and mass production what is lost is quality. I don’t think this is true. While they are plenty of cultural and artistic artifacts whose quality is rushed and inchoate, there is much artistic brilliance that lies outside of our sightline, lost in the sheer noise of cultural production. This newsletter - for a want of better word - seeks to reveal and uncover those lost or obscured writings and help bring them to a wider audience.

My output is directly related to the length and strength of my subscription list. If you are interested in my work and would like to support me please consider subscribing to the newsletter and website.

Subscriber’s get early and permanent access to the reviews. Reviews will go up several days before the publication date, and will only be unpaywalled for a brief window around the actual publication date. They will otherwise be subscriber only.

Outside of Exit Only I have written for publications such as 3:AM Magazine, The Cleveland Review of Books, Overland Journal and The Critical Flame.
